Gillingham will host Scottish Premier League outfit Hearts in a pre-season friendly at Priestfield.

The game has been scheduled for Thursday, July 29, kick-off 7.30pm and will be Gillingham’s second home pre-season match.

The Gills also entertain Peterborough on Tuesday, July 20, kick-off 7.45pm.

Boss Andy Hessenthaler, pictured, also confirmed that a trip to Calais will form part of the club’s pre-season schedule, although the Gills have yet to release a date for that fixture.

Other matches include trips to Blue Square South sides Braintree, Bromley and Dartford as well as Hessenthaler’s former club, Dover.
