Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller has joined League 2 promotion chasers Dagenham & Redbridge.

Miller has agreed an initial one month loan deal with John Still’s side.

The 27-year-old (pictured) has recently fallen down the pecking order at Gillingham and will be looking to kick-start his season at the Essex club.

Miller’s last appearance for Gillingham was in the 2-0 defeat at Brighton in mid-October.

He was one of Gillingham manager Mark Stimson’s first signing at the Gills, when he joined in from Stevenage in a joint deal with John Nutter in November 2007.

Miller has played 70 times for the Gills and helped the club to promotion to League 1 last season.

He started this season in promising fashion, with a goal in the 5-0 win over Swindon, but faded and eventually fell out of favour with Stimson.
