Gills boss Mark Stimson is aiming to put an end to the club’s 10-game winless run when they take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
The Gills sit above the League 1 relegation places on goal difference and Stimson’s side have failed to score in any of their last four home matches.
Speaking about their current form, Stimson said: "It’s not nice. I don’t like it and we want to change that as soon as possible.
"The only way we will do it is if the players are committed and give everything.
"Some of those games we’ve had since our last win we should have won but we haven’t and we’ll be looking to change that on Saturday."
Stimson will have a host of strikers to choose from.
Rene Howe has returned to training this week and has an outside chance of making the game, while Simeon Jackson will be fighting for a place back in the starting side.
New loan signing Chris Dickson should start and fellow forwards Dennis Oli and James Walker will also be vying for a place.
"As a manager there’s nothing better than watching goals go in and this season we’ve scored nowhere near enough," added Stimson.
The last time the Gills hosted Bristol Rovers was in October 2007. Gillingham won 3-2 – with a last-minute goal from Chris Dickson.
