Gillingham's leading scorer Cody McDonald is confident the goals will return after hitting a barren run of form in recent weeks.
The 17-goal striker has failed to find the net in the last four games and he is determined to end that run when Gillingham entertain lowly Bradford City in League 2 on Saturday.
McDonald (pictured), on a season-long loan from Norwich City, has gone four games without a goal only once before this season but it has never been stretched to five.
"The goals are definitely coming," insisted the striker.
"When you do go through a stage when you don’t score goals, people start thinking, ‘has he gone off the boil?’ but I still feel fresh, sharp and if chances keep coming, I am confident I can take them.
"When you don’t score for a couple of games people start to get on your back a bit but I’m sure if I get a few more chances I will take them."
