Gillingham manager Mark Stimson remains on the hunt for a new striker to help keep the club in League 1.
The Gills only managed 44 goals during their last season in League 1 and it ultimately led to their relegation.
Stimson is now concentrating on finding someone to deliver where it matters next season.
He said: "We’re looking all around to add a bit of cover or competition.
"I would like to bring in someone who can score goals to help the little man (Simeon Jackson) and the team as we do need goals to survive in the division.
"We’ve already got the players who can do that and we could possibly do with another to make sure we’re covered as we can’t rely on the little fella."
