Gillingham will face Stockport in the second round of the FA Cup following the Cheshire side’s replay win on Tuesday night.
League 1 side Stockport comfortably saw their way through at the second attempt against Yeovil with a 5-0 win. The first game had ended in a 1-1 draw.
The Gills have home advantage in the second round tie which takes place at Priestfield on Saturday, November 29.
Last weekend’s 1-0 win at Bury put Gillingham through to the second round, and they are now just one win away from a third round place, and a potential money-making tie against one of the country’s top side.
