A 17-year-old girl who was arrested on suspicion of arson has been released on police bail until January (Peter Barnett writes).

The teenager, who has no fixed home, was taken into custody following a fire at a flat in Wellington Crescent, Ramsgate, on Tuesday.

Police say minor damage was caused to a chair and a coffee table.
