A MOTHER is appealing for help to find her two-year-old daughter, missing since her father Shaun Burniston took her on a trip and did not bring her home.

Taylor Rose Burniston vanished from her Stanhope, Ashford, home on Wednesday, July 31. Now the girl's mother has got an emergency court order to get her back.

Mr Burniston, 38, has lived in Ashford in the past, but police do not know where he is living now. They believe he could be in the Newcastle area or even living abroad in Europe because he is known to have friends there.

He has told Taylor's mother that he intends to keep their daughter with him. Police emphasise that they do not believe Taylor to be in any danger.
