A 14-year-old girl from Margate is to appear at Thanet Youth Court charged with taking and driving a car that was involved in an accident with two other vehicles. Police allege the teenager committed the offence at Pierremont Avenue, Broadstairs, on Wednesday afternoon.

A 15-year-old girl from Broadstairs has been cautioned in connection with the incident.
