Girl grabbed by man in alleyway

POLICE are hunting a man after a 16-year-old girl claimed she was confronted in an alleyway.

The victim was walking through the alley between Bull Lane and Peartree Walk in Newington, near Folkestone, at around 8.30pm on Monday, November 20 when the incident happened.

She noticed a man standing in the alleyway, who grabbed her arm and asked where she was going as she tried to walk past him.

She managed to get free and run away and the man did not chase her.

He is described as white, in his late 50s or early 60s, of large build, with short, balding grey hair. He was wearing a thigh-length black jacket, which had a hood with a white lining.
