Two women from Kent who were raped as schoolgirls on a trip to Belize have lost their High Court damages action.
The pair, who are now in their early 20s, had sued their former Medway school and expedition organiser Adventure Life Signs Ltd for £100,000 each.
The women, who cannot be named for legal reasons, claimed not enough had been done to protect them.
But their compensation bid for damages was rejected today by a High Court judge who ruled they had been adequately supervised.
They were in a party of 12 staying at a remote camp in the Central American country in August 2005 when they were raped by three men.
