Glory Days - The empire strikes back

The hey-day of the British Empire was recalled at the Royal Engineers’ Museum in Gillingham over the weekend.

Soldiers showed how 19th century soldiers carved out an empire and fought to hold on to it during Queen Victoria’s reign.

There were redcoats and Boer War uniforms to be seen – and even a Zulu warrior.
