More on KentOnline
Greggs has launched its vegan steak bake with an online map revealing which stores in Kent are stocking the meat-free snack.
It has been a year since the high street bakery began selling vegan sausage rolls, which proved very popular with customers and sold out in many stores when first released.
But will the steak bake get the same reaction?
The pastry product, which has a Quorn, onion and gravy filling, has been launched just in time for Veganuary - where people go vegan for January - and costs £1.55.
It is hitting the shelves in selected stores today, and will be available in even more in two-weeks-time.
KentOnline reporter, Jess Sharp, has sampled the savoury snack and given her verdict.
Although she thought the meat alternative tasted very much like the real thing, she is "not a huge fan".
Maidstone reporter Jess Sharp's review of the vegan steak bake
She said: "The pastry is very powdery and dry but the inside doesn't taste too bad. It does taste like real steak.
"I'm just a bit unsure about it, maybe I just don't like the flavours."
Jess gave the steak bake an overall rating of four out of 10.
Another of our reporters, Brad Harper, popped into a Canterbury branch to sample the new product and was equally unimpressed.
