DETECTIVES are hunting a robber who threatened staff in a building society at the Bluewater shopping complex at Greenhithe, near Dartford.

The raider entered the Woolwich and took out what is believed to be a handgun.

Police said he used the weapon to threaten staff and demanded cash. He left with money but it is not known how much.

No-one was hurt during the incident. The man is described as white and wearing a brown or beige jacket, and a brown or beige baseball cap.
