MORE than £1 million of cocaine and two loaded guns have been seized by police.
Detectives raided two flats, in Bromley and Beckenham, as well as a garage in south east London, yesterday afternoon.
They recovered the cocaine and guns, a silencer, £95,000 in cash, a press used for the preparation of cocaine and mixing agents.
Det Supt Peter South, head of the Metropolitan Police’s projects team based at New Scotland Yard, said: "Undoubtedly this operation will have a significant impact in disrupting the supply of cocaine to our communities, particularly in south London.
"It is an example of our continuing efforts to tackle organised criminal networks involved in the supply of cocaine and associated gun crime. Not only have we taken a large quantity of drugs off the streets of London but also recovered two loaded firearms and a silencer."
Four people were arrested in Beckenham and Bromley on suspicion of conspiring to supply class A drugs.
The three men, aged 45, 26 and 20, and a 31-year-old woman were taken to a south London police station where they remain in custody.
