Harry Potter actor Rob Knox tried to protect his younger brother from a knifeman who was 'running amok', a court has heard.

The 18-year-old actor was allegedly stabbed five times outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup in Kent, by Karl Norman Bishop.

Rob had just finished filming Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, which is due out this summer.

His parents fought back tears as they heard how he had gone to the aid of his 17-year-old brother Jamie.

Bishop, 21, from Sidcup, denies murder.
