A GIRL of 14 who went missing from her home in London last month may be somewhere in Kent.
The Metropolitan Police say Sadiqa Jan has friends and associates in the county.
She has not been seen since leaving a mosque in Plashet Grove, Newham, on November 23.
Sadiqa is described as being of Middle Eastern/Asian appearance, of a slim build with brown eyes and long, black curly hair. She is between 5ft 3in and 5ft 5in tall.
A police spokesman said: "We understand that Sadiqa was last seen leaving a the Irshad Islamic Centre Mosque just before 7pm on November 23.
"She had been wearing a black hijab, but had changed into different clothes prior to leaving the mosque alone, on foot. It is not known what direction she headed towards.
"Sadiqa may have visited friends or associates in Whitechapel, east London, and in Kent.
"We urge her, or anyone else who might know where she is, to make contact so that her family know that she is safe and well."
Anyone with information is asked to call the Newham Missing Persons unit on 020 7275 5728.
