Islanders have the chance to raise issues affecting them and their areas at a meeting taking place this evening.

The first Sheppey Area Forum since new councillors were elected earlier this month will be held at The Gateway in Rushenden Road, Rushenden, starting at 7pm.

Items to be discussed include noisy motorbike activity at the Bartons Point Coastal Park, off Marine Parade, Sheerness, and a petition for a CCTV camera to cover the Winstanley Road, Galway Road and Invicta Road areas of the town.

Residents can have their say and quiz councillors and officers in public question time.
