Her Majesty during her recent visit to Invicta Barracks, Maidstone

The Queen is to visit Margate on November 11.

On the day the nation remembers the servicemen and women who have fought and died for our country, Queen Elizabeth II will be touring the Kent seaside town.

It is the latest in a series of visits to the county by Her Majesty.

Recent trips include a tour of Invicta Park Barracks in Maidstone in March this year, and an inspection of soldiers at Brompton Barracks in Medway in 2007.
