Youngsters from Chernobyl were among children who enjoyed a specially arranged day of fun and games on Herne Bay seafront.

The group from the Ukrainian town, which was devastated by a nuclear accident on in April 1986, were spending two weeks away from their home, which is still heavily contaminated with radiation.

London-based charity, the Albany Taxi Charity Fund, arranged the event.
