Frustrated - that is how quadriplegic sailor Hilary Lister feels as her round-Britain challenge is hit by bad weather.
Hilary, 35, from Dunkirk, was delayed leaving Brighton which gave her support team time to fix a small problem with her unique Artemis 20 boat, Me Too.
Strong winds then prevented her leaving Chichester at the weekend and she departed Monday afternoon, putting the trip a day behind schedule.
Project director Tony Leppard said: "Hilary feels very frustrated at the delays which have put her 24 hours behind schedule.
"She has had a very good reception everywhere she has gone."
Hilary, who left Dover last Monday, steers her boat using a sip and puff technique.
If she succeeds in her challenge, which is expected to take three to four months, she will be the first female quadriplegic to sail round Britain.
