A horse has been left in the middle of a roundabout on an industrial estate in Gravesend.

This horse was saddled with a roundabout for pasture after being left in the middle on a Gravesend industrial estate.

The black and white horse was reported to police by a concerned driver earlier this afternoon, after he spotted the creature grazing on the roundabout on Dering Way.

He said: “I was down the other end of the road and thought it was a sculpture, but then I saw it move.

"It didn’t seem too bothered by the cars going around it and just kept eating the grass.”

A police spokesman said the animal was tethered to a spike.

They said: “Neighbourhood officers have established the animal is well and there is no concern for the animal's welfare.

“Officers will try to establish who the owners of the animal are and speak with them to ensure it is removed safely.”
