Horse rescued form swimming pool

A DISTRESSED pony called Tufty stranded in the shallow end of a swimming pool was rescued by firefighters on Sunday.

The Kent Fire and Rescue Animal Unit was called to an address in St Helens Lane, West Farleigh, at about at 8.30am and spent more than two hours using strops and a crane to remove the animal unharmed from the water.
