THE pre-show booking of tickets for July's Kent County Show at Detling through a credit card hotline is now open.

The hotline will be manned during office hours from 9am to 5pm on 01622 630030 Monday to Friday. The advantage of pre-booking is the saving of £4 on a Family Ticket of two adults and two children from five to 16 years old. Under fives go free.

The total cost of this Family Ticket will be £24 - a saving of £1.50 for an adult ticket and 50p for senior citizens and children. The same discount is given to individual tickets.

Frances Day, chief executive of the Kent County Agricultural Society, said: "More and more people are booking their show tickets with credit cards these days. The show will be open on a Sunday for the first time this year. It is being staged on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 12,13 and 14.
