HOUSING company mhs homes is axing 12 jobs, along with children’s projects, to concentrate on building houses.

Charity projects which give youngsters the chance to take part in sporting, educational and artistic activities, will be scaled down.

Among the projects to be cut are outreach project Hearts and Minds, and Kickback which combines education with football coaching for children in Medway schools.
