Officers trying to find Danny King’s killer have been sifting through hours of CCTV footage which they believe holds vital information.
They have also spoken to 250 motorists during a road check, one week after Mr King, 51, was shot four times at his home in Medina Road, Ditton.
Detective Chief Inspector Jon Bumpus, the senior investigating officer, said: "I believe the CCTV footage we have from the area is of great importance and holds significant information."
Ch Insp Tony Thomas, borough commander for Tonbridge and Malling, said a large number of dedicated officers continued to work on the investigation.
He said: "This is a major investigation. A team of dedicated officers are working on the case."
Det Ch Insp Bumpus added: “We are following a number of lines of inquiry and are grateful to all who have contacted us.
"However, we continue to appeal to anyone who may have information to speak to officers in the incident room or contact Kent Crimestoppers.
"The family is devastated at their loss. We ask that anyone who has information thinks of the terrible ordeal they are going through and contact us immediately."
