Illegal immigrants have been stopped entering the UK - after being found in a lorry load of sofas.

British officials in France used a carbon dioxide detector to check a Romanian-registered vehicle before it could board a cross-Channel ferry at Calais last Monday.

They found 10 men, who were handed over to French authorities.

The truck was heading for Wrexham, north Wales.
