A NIGERIAN nurse who deceived NHS bosses into giving her a job at Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup is due to be sentenced today.

Anike Smith, 36, worked illegally as a healthcare assistant for two-and-a-half years after she faked stamps on her passport claiming she could work in the UK.

Last month she pleaded guilty at Bexley Magistrates' Court to obtaining pecuniary advantage.

She was warned she could face a prison sentence
