Oliver is given a new twist in a production opening at Dickens World’s Britannia Theatre on Wednesday.
Oliver Unplugged sees three artists change into more than 20 characters for the adaptation of Dickens’ famous story of the workhouse orphan.
Produced by Joe Wenborne Productions, it runs alongside The Trial of Fagin, which sees the audience become the jury.
The attraction’s courtyard at Chatham Maritime becomes a courtroom for the production, which sees Fagin call on Nancy, Oliver, Bill Sikes and the Artful Dodger as character witnesses.
KentOnline went along to see how the productions are shaping up. Watch the video above for a taste of what’s in store.
