If your usual collection is Monday, December 24 collections will take place on Saturday, December 22.

If your usual collection is Tuesday, December 25 (Christmas Day) collections will take place on Monday, December 24.

If your usual collection is Wednesday, December 26 (Boxing Day) collections will take place on Thursday, December 27.

If your usual collection is Thursday, December 27 collections will take place on Friday, December 28.

If your usual collection is Friday, December 28 collections will take place on Saturday, December 29.

Residents who have their bin collection on Monday, December 24 will see no changes.

If your rubbish is collected on a Tuesday, you will have no collection on Tuesday, December 25/Christmas Day or Tuesday, January 1/New Year’s Day, as those are both Tuesdays.

If your rubbish is normally collected on a Wednesday - pick-ups will happen a day later for the weeks commencing Monday, December 24 (your pick-up will be Thursday, December 27) and Monday, December 31 (your pick up will be Thursday, January 3).

Green-lidded bin collection will be suspended over the Christmas and new year period to ensure that no household goes more than 15 days without a black bin collection.

The council will not be running a Saturday bulky waste collection on Saturday, January 5.
