Inquest opens into death of tree car crash victim Stuart Harden

An inquest has been opened into the death of a man whose car crashed into a tree.

Coroner's officer Bryant Hale today confirmed Stuart Harden was the sole occupant of the Mercedes and that no other vehicles were involved.

Initial findings by a post mortem examination were that he died from multiple injuries.

Mr Harden, 48, of Ashford Road, Hamstreet, died at the scene of the accident at Birchett Lane. It happened at 4.35pm on Wednesday, February 9.

Coroner Rachel Redman, sitting at Ashford Magistrates Court, adjourned the hearing for a date to be fixed.
