A £2.7 million “dream home” in the Kent countryside is being raffled off.

The eye-catching house, which has six bedrooms and an outdoor swimming pool, will be signed over to one lucky winner following a draw next month.

Competition organiser Raffle House is remaining tight-lipped about the location of the property, only revealing it is within the High Weald National Landscape.

Towns and villages in the area include Cranbrook, Tenterden and Goudhurst.

Raffle House says the 6,300 sq ft property is “the very definition of a dream home”.

It sits within a 1.3-acre plot and has two garages, three living rooms, a games room and six bathrooms.

It will come fully furnished with more than £200,000 of “opulent and perfectly styled décor”.

The winner of the house will not have to pay stamp duty, and can even choose to take a tax-free cash equivalent instead.

The home will be the 15th raffled off by Raffle House amid a growing trend for multi-million-pound homes to be offloaded through such competitions.

Typically, conditions stipulate that if not enough tickets are sold, the winner is given a cash prize and the property remains in its current ownership.

In 2022, a couple told of the “life-changing” impact of winning a £2.5 million cliff-top house in Kingsdown, near Deal.

The beachfront home was up for grabs as part of a raffle by Omaze, and also came with a £50,000 cash prize.

The Raffle House draw takes place on August 31.

Entry to the draw is free via post, or tickets – starting at 15 for £10 – can be bought online.
