X Factor singer John Adeleye has confessed to an 'incident' with fellow performer Wagner as tension built up on the show.
But, speaking ahead of a Maidstone gig tonight, he said the 'conversation' he had with long-haired Wagner had been blown out of all proportion.
He told KentOnline: "It's not as true as the papers say - the papers always like to exaggerate things. There's some truth in it.
"There was an incident, and we had a conversation, but there's no beef."
He praised Louis Walsh as mentor and said he liked last week's 'cheesy' song choice (Zoom by Fat Larry's Band), after initial doubts.
He also gave a sneak preview of what he might be singing at Liquid nightclub in Maidstone: "I think I'm going to do one of the songs I did on the live shows, and then pick up the tempo and show you guys a good time and make sure everybody has fun."
KM Group has teamed up with Liquid nightclub to give readers and listeners the chance to win tickets to the series of Friday night concerts with the stars of X Factor as they leave the show.
Listeners to kmfm can win tickets to John's concert in Maidstone on DJ Rob Wills' drive show.
