Kent is experiencing the hottest weather since 2006, say experts.
Temperatures today reached a maximum of 23.5C (74F) - the hottest day of the year so far.
But there's hotter days yet to come, according to the Met Office and amatuer meteorologist, Lester Gosbee.
Mr Gosbee, the KM's amateur weatherman who lives in Frittenden, said: "Gravesend is likely to reach 26C on Tuesday, with inland areas nearer London reaching 28C."
Mr Gosbee is confident in his prediction that this summer will be hotter than the summer of 2006 where temperatures by June 12 had reached a sweltering 32.2 C (90F).
He added: "Last Thursday through to Wednesday many places had more sunshine than any week last year between May and August."
