Joe's fury at Van Day Villain's game plan

Joe is kicking himself for sticking up for fellow camper David Van Day.

The Ex-EastEnder star, who is due to appear at the Central Theatre next week, has expressed his feelings time and time again that David hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip by other team mates since his late arrival on the reality TV show.

Joe even made Nicola cry when he told her she especially was being unkind and rude to David.

Since entering the camp David has stirred up trouble over sleeping arrangements, not helping with cleaning duties and generally rubbing people up the wrong way.

But it seems the joke was on Joe after David revealed during a Celebrity Chest Challenge with Page 3 girl Nicola McLean, that it was all part of his game plan.

David then tried to encourage the busty beauty to join him on his mission by suggesting they should flirt with one another to make Joe jealous.

He also hoped it would encourage viewers to keep the pair of them in the jungle until the end.

Instead of joining forces Nicola decided to blow his plan right out of the water.

Standing by the bathing pool Nicola told Joe what David had revealed to her whilst the cameras were off of them.

She said: "He's an absolute lunatic. He goes 'right I think we need to change it all. Why don't me and you do a bit of flirting tonight. We'll get right up Joe's nose.

"We're here for the same reasons. Let's keep it a show. Me and you we're here for the same purpose.'

"He's been doing it all along for the cameras. He isn't bothered that nobody's speaking to him. He's going 'it's brilliant, it's brilliant, it's great, fantastic.'"

As soon as Nicola and Joe returned to the camp David started flirting with Nicola. He then told Joe 'if you could go to bed a bit earlier it would be appreciated.'

Joe told David "Listen there's more chance of the pope having a threesome than Nicola going near you mate."

Nicola told the Bush Telegraph: "It's changed things a lot because I think Joe feels a bit let down."

The camp is down to six. Robert Kilroy-Silk, Dani Behr, Carly Zucker, Esther Rantzen, Timmy Mallet and Brian Paddick have all left the jungle.

Joe will play Buttons in Cinderella at the Central Theatre, Chatham, from Friday, December 12.
