John Lewis is creating more than 100 jobs at its newest Kent store.
The retailer has launched a drive to recruit 125 "partners" for its John Lewis at Home branch in Ashford.
It is looking for people to fill a variety of roles, including sales assistants, specialist advisers and catering professionals.
The shop - close to J9 of the M20 - is John Lewis's 10th At Home store and is due to open later this year.
The metal framework of the £7million store looks to have been completed at the site off Drovers Roundabout off Maidstone Road.
It will focus on furniture, furnishing accessories, electrical and home technology. To allow customers to access and order a wider John Lewis assortment from johnlewis.com, customer online ordering points will be located throughout the shop and people will also be able to use the free John Lewis Click and Collect service.
Rebekah Hawley, personnel growth manager at John Lewis, is coordinating the recruitment process.
She said: "We are looking for hardworking people who can use their own initiative and are eager to work within a team and appreciate the importance of great customer service.
"Making sure that customers enjoy their experience and are satisfied with the service they receive is a key priority for John Lewis. There are a broad range of roles available and we offer both full and part-time contacts."
Glynis Gunning-Stevenson, who was announced as manager this month, said: "As a business we are committed to recruiting locally and I’m confident that our recruitment team will select a strong group of individuals to help launch our at home shop to the people of Ashford."
