Video: Super-cute kittens
needing a home

They're small, fluffy... and so cute they'll make your heart
melt.

But despite being utterly adorable, these little kittens need
someone to love - soon.

That's because they're just some of the hundreds of unwanted
animals needing a new home.

Staff at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home at Brands Hatch have
been deluged with more unwanted animals than ever before.

According to animal welfare assistant Jackie Phillips,
the number of cats and kittens needing re-homing has doubled
since the end of April.

The centre already re-homes around 800 a year.

But now the bill for caring for them is rocketing - to nearly
£3,000 a day.
