Kent-born actress Naomi Watts is pregnant again.
The A-list star of King Kong and The Ring announced this week she is expecting her second child with her long-term partner, American actor Liev Schreiber, just under a year after giving birth to their son Alexander.
Miss Watts, 39, is now four months into her second pregnancy.
Her mother Miv Watts, a costume and interior designer now based in Norwich, told KentOnline she was ‘absolutely thrilled’ at the news.
Miss Watts, 39, spent her early years in Shoreham, near Sevenoaks, with her mother and brother before relocating to Wales and later Australia, where she began her acting career.
Her father, Pink Floyd sound engineer Peter Watts, died when she was seven.
It was also announced this month that the Kent beauty will star in a big screen adaptation of King Lear, alongside Keira Knightley, Gwyneth Paltrow and Anthony Hopkins.
Her next film, The International starring Clive Owen, is scheduled for release later this year.
