Kent have extended the loan of seam bowler David Balcombe for a second month.
The 26-year-old Hampshire player has taken 14 wickets in three championship games since moving to the county, including two five-wicket hauls against Surrey and Gloucestershire.
Balcombe, pictured, misses this week’s return match against Surrey - which marks the start of Canterbury Festival Week - because of a hamstring injury.
Kent will be looking to bounce back following their Friends Life t20 quarter-final defeat at the hands of Leicestershire on Saturday.
The three-wicket loss meant the county missed out on a potentially-lucrative finals day and effectively means they are now playing for pride for the remainder of the campaign.
