Temperatures are set to soar in Kent this weekend, almost a year to they day the county was about to be hit by the Beast from the East.
Last year, large parts of the county became inaccessible as freezing weather from Russia was dumped on the county.
Up to 10 inches of snow fell making motorways and main roads unpassable and causing major disruption to trains and bus services.
WATCH: Green campaigners warn of extreme weather events
The conditions were so bad that hundreds of schools close.
But this weekend weather experts say temperatures could reach 15C, despite a dull and misty start with patchy fog.
Tomorrow is also expected to stay dry and it will be mild into early next week, with increasing amounts of sunshine.
The unusually warm weather comes amid growing fears about global warming.
The United Nations says we only have 12 years to reduce global warming, which has Green Campaigner Stuart Jeffery worried.
“It is part of a pattern that’s been predicted by climate scientists and one that’s increasingly becoming true," he said.
“We’ll see more of this and see more extreme weather events happening in the future so it is something we should be very worried about.
“The future of our planet is really in the balance - we have 12 years to stop the problem we have caused as humanity."
