Youngsters Adam Ball and Adam Riley are both included in the Kent squad of 12 for the first LV=County Championship Division 2 home game of the season against Gloucestershire starting at Canterbury on Tuesday.
Left-arm fast medium bowler Ball (pictured), 17, and 19-year-old former Academy spinner Riley are joined by Azhar Mahmood, after Kent missed out on another loan signing to bolster their bowling resources.
Darren Stevens has been passed fit after an ankle problem, but Matt Coles is still nursing a jarred knee and likely to be out for at least three weeks.
