Ten new clubs were elected into the Kent County League at the competition's annual meeting in Sittingbourne.

The league also has new backers after confirming a three-year deal with the Spicer Haart Group. Vandanel step aside after three years as main sponsors, but continue their involvement as secondary supporters of the league.

Colchester-based Spicer Haart’s list of companies, include Haart Estate Agency, who have 15 offices throughout the region, and the league will carry their name.

The make-up of the league takes on a new-look, after Canterbury City and Cray Valley (PM) were both promoted to the Safety Net Kent League, while 12 more clubs have switched to the Kent Invicta League, the new Step Six competition.

The Haart of Kent County League constitution includes a 14-team Premier Division, a county-wide Division 1 including 15 teams, two Division 2 sections - East and West with 14 teams, and two Reserve Divisions - also East and West.

The new clubs are: AFC Mottingham, Deal Town Rangers, Dulwich Magic, Greenhill, Hadlow Evolution, Halstead, Holland Sports, Parkwood Rangers, Phoenix Academy and Sevenoaks.

League chairman Cyril Windiate (pictured) said: "It was the most difficult and most complex annual meeting I have overseen since becoming chairman in 1984. Our foundations are not as strong as they were, but will be rebuilt."

Hollands & Blair boss Paul Piggott retained the Manager of the Year award after guiding the Gillingham club to the Premier Division title and Kent Intermediate Shield double, New Romney Reserves won the Fair Play Award and a cheque for £500, while Bruce Marchant of Lydd Town was named Club Secretary of the Year.

The Premier and Division 1 seasons will begin on Saturday, August 20 with the other divisions beginning on September 3.
