Kent's chief executive says it is time for the talking to stop and decisions to be made about the future of county cricket.
Jamie Clifford (pictured) hit out after the latest gathering of the sport's top brass at Lord’s this week again deferred a decision on what happens in 2012 and beyond.
He and chairman George Kennedy joined their counterparts from the other 17 first class counties and representatives of the Professional Cricketers’ Association in a near four-hour discussion on Tuesday.
Mr Clifford said: "This has been going on since January last year. We can’t keep talking about it for ever and it’s not doing us any good.
"These are fundamental changes about what county cricket will look like and understandably people want to get it right."

The debate is set to continue among the counties, all of whom will receive a questionnaire from the ECB to be returned before March 22.
Mr Clifford said: "We will have to talk again whether collectively among the cricket committee or individually but a decision has to be made, so the new structure is in place before this season starts on April 8."
Kent have voiced their opposition to a reduction in the number of matches in the Friends Provident T20 competition. Changes to the County Championship are also under discussion.
Kent members are due to receive their 2010 annual report and accounts – expected to show a big operating loss – in the next few days.
