The start of the Kent Cross Country Championships last year

This weekend's Kent County Cross Country Championships have been postponed.

The course at Detling Showground, near Maidstone, is covered in snow and Kent County Athletic Association organisers will have have to re-scheduled the event.

An excellent entry of 885 athletes had been received and Mike Coleman was hoping to win the senior men’s trophy for the seventh consecutive year and to lead the holders Medway & Maidstone AC in defending their team awards.
