Kent's tour match with Pakistan ended in a draw on Wednesday.

The highlight for the hosts was a half-century in each innings for opener Joe Denly, who confirmed his return to full fitness at the top of the order.

Denly (pictured) top scored with 63 in Kent's first innings before scoring 69 second time around to gain valuable time in the middle.

An eventful first day saw Pakistan bowled out for 360 with Umar Akmal top scoring on 153. Former Yorkshire and Derbyshire leg spinner Mark Lawson was the most successful Kent bowler with 4-93 from 16 overs.

Kent collapsed to 33-4 in reply but Denly and James Goodman (59) rescued them and they were eventually dismissed for 259.

Azhar Mahmood struck early in Pakistan's second innings but half-centuries from Umar Amin and Fawad Alam led them to 264-4 declared (Lawson 2-71).

Chris Piesley made amends for his first innings duck by scoring 43 second time around as Kent closed on 150-3.
