Two girls from Kent have taken second and third places in a competition designed to promote naturally curvy women.

Anna Broadley from Chislehurst was second, and Dover student Lauren Sadler was voted third in the Star In A Bra competition.

Lauren, 18, who is a former Dover Grammar School pupil, is currently studying geography at Durham university.

The two were among 30 girls picked to take part in the first public vote, and then found themselves in the top 10 for the second round of voting.

The result was announced on Thursday, June 17. The winner was Laura Ann Smith from Bonnybridge

The competition was designed to give more shapely girls a chance to show the world just how good they look in lingerie.

All the contestants were given a make-over and photoshoot before their photos were put on the Brastop website for the second round of voting.
