The Kent Football League has agreed a deal with Safety Net Associates to become their title sponsors.

The league will be known as the Safety Net Associates Kent Football League, with the Kent-based company replacing Bulmers Cider who decided not to renew their sponsorship at the end of last season.

Kent League chairman Denise Richmond, pictured, said: "We're delighted to welcome Safety Net Associates as our new league sponsors.

"They are a welcome addition to our strong portfolio and we're all looking forward to working closely together to increase their presence in the county.

"It is a particular boost for our clubs given the current economic climate to receive the financial backing of Safety Net Associates."

Trevor Kennett, chief executive of Safety Net Associates said: "Safety Net Associates strongly believe in the positive influence that organised sport can have on reducing Anti Social Behaviour and Neighbourhood Nuisance.

"We are proud of our Kent roots as a Kent based business and support a number of charities and initiatives that promote sport within communities."

Safety Net Associates are already familiar with the Kent League as they are also the main sponsors of Herne Bay.
