A man died after being hit by a train last night.

The 21-year-old, who is thought to be from Kent, died at 8.48pm after being hit by a Virgin train as it passed through the village of Long Lawford near Rugby, Warwickshire.

The train was travelling from London Euston to Wolverhampton.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
