A 46-year-old Kent man was among the British people who died in the terrorist outrage in Bali.
Paul Hussey, from Folkestone, moved to the holiday island in March to manage two hotels in Kuta. His body has be found in the rubble.
Mr Hussey grew up in Kent and had been a student at the Thanet College Catering School at Broadstairs. His sister, Sue Cooper, 50, who runs a bed and breakfast guest house in Densole, near Folkestone, said: "I hate the people who did this."
As many as 33 Britons, many thought to be young backpackers, are feared to have died after two car bombs ripped through a popular nightspot.
The family of a Kent firefighter who escaped the devastating terrorist blast say his bad time-keeping saved his life.
Jolyon Ditton, 31, from Westbrook, near Margate, was due to meet some new Danish friends at the Sari Club on the holiday island but was running late. His father Peter said: “His time-keeping isn’t very good. He and his friend Matthew missed their appointment, and the bar is not there any more.
"He is used to dealing with tragedy in his work but not on this scale."
Mr Ditton said his son, a former pupil of St George's School, Brodastairs, managed to send a seven word text message to relatives saying he was all right, but they had not yet had chance to speak to him.
Two brothers from Paddock wood, near Maidstone, also cheated death by leaving the Sari Club minutes before the blast. Ben and Joe Norton were nearing the end of their two-week holiday and had visited the nightspot almost every night during their stay.
But on Saturday evening they decided to leave only 15 minutes before it was totally demolished.
