MP Tracey Crouch has turned down a ministerial job in Boris Johnson's cabinet, saying she wants to to spend more time with her family.
The Chatham and Aylesford representative had been widely tipped for a top position and is understood to have been offered the job of culture secretary.
However, she tweeted last night: "Looking forward to spending first red box free summer with Freddie before we start looking at schools #timeyounevergetback #priorities."

The MP resigned as sports minister last year in a row about reforms to gambling machines in bookmakers.
She quit after the government sought delays in the introduction of limits on the amount of money that could be bet on fixed odds betting machines.

The maximum stake was drastically cut from £100 to £2. She later said she had "no regrets" about her decision.
The MP, who has a young son, had initially backed Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary and former culture minister, in the leadership contest.
She then swung behind Boris Johnson and was widely expected to be offered a job in government.
